The JOKER Lab aims to improve AI’s understanding and handling of humor and wordplay by creating reusable test collections and tasks for humor retrieval, translation, and generation across languages.

Tasks

The JOKER Lab features four different tasks:

Humoraware Information Retrieval
Retrieve short humorous texts for a query.
Pun Translation
Translate puns from English to French and Spanish.
Onomastic Wordplay Translation
Translate onomastic wordplay from English to French and Spanish.
Humor Generation
Humor Generation: guided creativity.
